Hi,
   has anyone ever experienced problems culturing MRC-5 cells in 384 well plates. I seed 22.5K cells/well in DMEM/5% FBS (I know 10% would be better but I need 5%) and after incubation for 18h I see lots of occurences of wells where my cells detach. They detach as a layer (not just becomes rounded and detach) which makes even more weird. It seems that those MRC-5 cells are pretty fragile because I don't see this problem with other cell lines. However I need to do tests on those particular cells (cannot replace with other fibroblasts). This is most likely not due to contamination.
Thoughts or ideas anyone?
