I am having some trouble wiht this relatively easy assay. Sometimes it works and other times it does not work.
I plate the same number of cells in a 96-well plate & use the same MTT concentration.
sometimes it is hard to dissolve the MTT...
anybody have any troubleshooting ideas??

Our group solubilized the MTT fomazan with DMSO and this work quite well.

We use a product from Promega ( Part # G358B) for MTT assay. It is a ready to use solution and very convenient. You may want to try
