Intervet/Schering-Plough is actively seeking a veterinarian to join our swine technical services team. Responsibilities include on-site (customer) technical support of Intervet/Schering-Plough products, technical support for sales and marketing. Position would also be a liaison to
management and R&D function, represent Intervet/SP at industry meetings/presentations, and provide on-farm research and pharmacovigilance support.
This is a home/field based position covering the Midwest including the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, and Ohio. This position includes 30% overnight travel (company car provided)
Qualifications
Requirements include a DVM or VMD, good communication skills, proficiency in
diagnostic testing, and proficiency in the
MS Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Preference will be given to those candidates who possess a working knowledge of swine production
medicine.
