We have old LKB Wallac 1277 Gammamaster Gamma-counter by donation for research use. Unfortunately we have no operating manual nor operating software.
If anyone used or had used this instrument, please let us know or informed us how to obtain these items.

The order number for the GammaMaster Instrument manual is 1277-931. We do
not have manuals in stock but we can copy one if necessary.

There are three configurations for controlling the GammaMaster:

1) Stand alone CPM counter. Printer (serial) connected to the RS-232 serial
port marked as "Data connection 1". The communication parameters are: Baud
rate 2400, Word length 7, Stop bits 2, Parity Even, Hand shake DTR. The
counter is operated by using the built in keypad.

2) PC connected to the RS-232 serial port marked as "Data connection 1".
Communication parameters as above. The suitable software for data capture
and automatic filing is "UltroTerm III". Windows Hyperterminal can be used
as well. The counter is operated by using the built in keypad.

3) GammaMaster used with a PC running MultiCalc software, 1224-310. While
the configurations 1 and 2 produces only CPM printout the MultiCalc can
evaluate radioimmunoassays e.g. calculate the concentrations. MultiCalc
includes assay Quality Control. The assay protocols are set up in MultiCalc
PC and the counting is started from MultiCalc.

Please note that note that the GammaMaster is an old instrument. All spare
parts are NOT available any longer. For example detectors and keypad
membrane are not available.
