Hi all,
Some time ago I was implanting Titanium rods into the Rat Femur.
I am thinking in doing the same in a Rabbit model.
Dose anyone have a knowledge withthe anatomy of Rabbit femur?

Hi,
Over all the anatomy of both Rat and Rabbit femur is similar, Epiphysis, Metaphysis and Diaphysis. The dimentions are different. The collar in the diaphysis is wider, and made of compact bone, and the epiphysis as larger but is also mostely spongiosa.
