Total
Microarray Data Analysis
and Interpretation
Improving the ROI on Microarray Investments
August 23-25, 2006 - Ritz Carlton Hotel - Washington, D.C.

Dear Colleague:

Microarray experiments are costly - both in time and resources, making the careful
design of experiments to generate useful gene expression data for diagnostics, target
identification, screening, genotyping and other applications critical. The goal - designing
microarray experiments that yield statistically defensible results. The generation of such
useful data requires effective communication between those designing and running the experiments, with those analyzing the data, to those database developers who facilitate the data handling. CHI's 6th Annual Total Microarray Data Analysis and Interpretation is designed to provide perspectives from each specialty, with an emphasis on how they can be integrated into a cohesive, comprehensive team.

Session topics include,
but are not limited to:

* Experimental Design
* Data Normalization & Standardization
* Data Quality Control
* Statistical Analysis and Validation
* Visual Data Exploration
* Data Mining, Clustering and Classification
* Database Design and Management
* Database Integration and Interoperability
* Text Mining
Including microarray
applications of:

* Pathway Analysis
* Biomarker Identification
* Gene Expression
* Genotyping
* Toxicology
* Biodefense
* Drug Screening
* Disease Prognosis
* Disease Diagnosis
* Other

Researchers working in the technical developments driving this field and end users utilizing applications are encouraged to submit a title and summary detailing their research for consideration of presentation. To ensure the quality of the program, a
scientific advisory committee will review all proposals.

Deadline for submission is February 10, 2006.

To submit a proposal for consideration please click here.
