I would like to ask much it would cost to have a standard cell biology laboratory to be used especially for an introductory course on molecular and cell biology. If possible, please include the breakdown of the prices of individual tools and equipment.

That would depend on a lot of things. I'm not sure I can help but answers to these questions might get you more replies.
1) which country this is in?
2) new or second hand equipment wanted?
3) how many students would work in it at one time?
4) what level of work will be done - is it introductory degree level or introductory school level?
5) what variety of experiments do you want to do
6) what legal requirements are there? do you need special air conditioning changes or fume hoods to be plumbed in?
7) how big is the room?

Maybe you could bulk buy from a company that is closing down somehow?

Also, depending on what you are - school, university etc - some companies might do you special discounts on equipment.

The more you buy the cheaper things are.

A molecular biology lab will need different equipment to a cell biology lab. Cell biology usually involves longer term experiments and needs liquid nitrogen storage and more sophiticated incubators than say, doing bacterial plasmid cloning experiments which is what I did during my uni lab practicals.

I think you need to more clearly define exactly what you want to do in the lab, and how many people it would cater for.

Thank you for your reply.

1) Which country this is in?
Philippines.
2) New or second hand equipment wanted?
Second hand is equipment welcome/acceptable.
3) How many students would work in it at one time?
About 16-20 students at a time.
4) What level of work will be done - is it introductory degree level or introductory school level?
The level should be appropriate for introductory undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science).
5) What variety of experiments do you want to do?
a. basic microscopy (includes basic operation of phase contrast microscopes)
b. basic staining
c. counting cells (by direct count and using hemocytometers)
d. automatic pipetting systems (using eppendorf pipettors)
e. monitoring growth of cells (Tetrahymena)
f. culture and maintenance of free living amoeba
g. observing transformation of cells (Naegleria sp.)
6) What legal requirements are there? Do you need special air conditioning changes or fume hoods to be plumbed in?
I don't know about legal requirements. Two air-conditioning units will be okay.
7) How big is the room?
The room is approximately 50 square meters.
