I am expecting to graduate by 1st week of Dec 2009 and I am presently looking for a full time / part time opportunity, which would allow me to contribute with my academic back ground and professional experience.

I previously worked as an Process engineer-Cell culture commercial and contract Manufacturing in Biocon Biophamaceuticals (Jun 2006- Sep 2008), India . As process  engineer I was responsible for the transfer of technology from Lab scale to GMP manufacturing fecility. And have hands on media preparation, filtration process, (10 to 500)L Stirred tank bioreactor operation such as CIP, SIP, nutrient feeding, Inoculation and harvest. I was also an active participant in preparation of  process related documents such as SOPs and manufacturing records. I have also gained strong knowledge with Bioreactor P&ID system, high cell density perfusion cultures, Mass/Material balance related to Cell culture fermentation. In addition I was also responsible for the Compilation of production run results which includes the calculation of specific uptake / production rate of substrate and metabolites respectively.
