X map technology from Luminex helps to develop your own applications for molecular diagnostics, immunodiagnostics, protein expression or genomic commercial kits. Once commercial kits are developed, what percent of royalties is payed to Luminex ?

Luminex xMAP technology is based on microsphere beads that have been color-coded to generate about 100 separate sets. Microsphere can be coated with monoclonal antibodies against a specific analyte of interest. Individual analytes are conjugated to phycoerythin and serve as tracers in the assay.

This method offers one of the best available technologies and platforms to measure and analyse Prostaglandin and Leukotriene. Are there other companies that offer similar platforms? I need to compare and find the best and most cost effective system.

Roshan,

I am interested in setting up HLA genotyping using Bioplex instrument. Any thoughts?
Thanks
