good evening

when i performe a cyclic voltametric experiment on glassy carbon electrode, i found that the first run is completly different  fromthe second with respect to shift in potentail and shift in current.what is the reason for this behavior?

and

is it correct to perform two cyclic voltametric runs within the same solution or not?

with best regards
