Hi All,

Just wanted to get people's opinions on this. I was in academia for a while, then got a job in industry. I'm considering going back to academia to do a phd. Would this be viewed as shooting myself in the foot as far as getting a job in industry afterwards is concerned? I attempted a phd before and various reasons meant it wasn't possible to complete it, but I'm keen to give it another shot.
