siRNA research and tools are blooming. Many companies offer state of the Art technologies regarding RNAi for diagnostics and therapeutic products. Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research(www.novartis.com) screens siRNA in a large scale to identify genes involved in cell-signaling pathways and also to identify new genes involved in regulatory pathways. The method used is identifying gene functions via high throughput cell-based assays.
Please anyone knows about other companies with products regarding RNAi technologies?

Has anyone used the TriFECTa Dicer-Substrate RNAi kit from Integrated DNA Technologies?. They claim to provide a 70% knockdown of the target mRNA when >90% transfection efficiency.

The kit has three target-specific Dicer-Substrate siRNA duplexes (5 nmoles each), Cy3TM DS Transfection Control, fluorescent-labeled transfection control duplex (1nmole), HPRT-S1 DS positive Control Duplex (1nmole), DS Scrambled-Neg, universal negative control duplex (1nmole). RNase-free Duplex buffer.

...better add Roche's Xtreme and Epoch Biolabs' GeneCarrier and RNACarrier reagents to that list. The latter has been especially good in my hands with endothelial cells (which are difficult).
