<description><![CDATA[ Hi Shani_Dr<br />There can be multiple reasons or it:<br />1) you are using a membrane wit high pore size and transferred it for long duration leading to escape of your LMW proteins<br />2) A bubble or air space between your gel and membrane<br />3) Ponceau has alot lower sensitivity in comparison to CBB g250 and as a result youre unable to detect proteins at this range. Increase the loading amount and you may be able to visualize them.<br />4) degraded proteins in LMW region ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[ HI all..<br />I did western today and notice that I saw only  5  (from 6 ) - 50 kd  bands of the marker.<br />in addition, in the ponceau I saw bands only untill the 50 kd marker.<br />meaning, I dont see protiens that are smaller than 50kd.<br />what could be the problem?<br />Shani<br /> ]]></description>
