Mentoring Science..
When I joined PhD programme in Molecular Neuroscience there was so much of excitement about how to really start an interesting research work, unraveling new dogmas’, publishing in big journals, and lot more...But truly speaking its really worth doing it, it has taught many lessons of life.
Doing a 5 year (< / >) PhD is Living a Life. You go through troughs and crests, shoot the troubles, learn to start building a project, managing lab, dealing scientific meetings and much more.
We all come across relations, which can change our life and many lives. A true mentor who not only guides you to deal with scientific issues but also awakes you for the real science and make you a mentor itself. Who takes pride on your success rides. Who becomes a guide of a Lifetime.
Life has its own way to teach us. Starting from day one we have been learning from our surroundings (/nature), parents, elders, neighbors, friends and teachers. But this special category plays a responsible role to mould us.
Lets have a discussion about building a lifetime relations with science & mentors with our experiences and suggestions.
