No ice at the North Pole

So what do you think about that?

Yesterday I watched the CNN and heard that scientinsts are forecasting that until october this year there will be no ice in at the north pole.

I thought about it and found it to be very scary. Although it would shorten the duration of sea traveling between Sweden/Russia and west north America. But think about what could happen. I am not a climatologist but thinking about the salinity of the sea water after the thowing of the Ice.  Climate would change.

Are we on the edge of climate changes earlier that we thought it would come?

Read this link and see the movie.

Hope that this forecast is not going to come true.

we can't be worried just about the North Pole these days... If you look down from a plane over mountain ranges, you can see that some of them used to house massive glaciers that are now gone... the only water left there is a mere trickle of a stream... I saw this on the 24th morning as I was flying from Bangalore to Mangalore. The path eroded and carved out by the thawing and freezing of water is so clear along the slopes of the mountains...
