My new Hobby

So long time since my last entry,

Just finished checking up and marking the last Exam for this semester, So I have a bit more time to share my new hobby with all of you.

Stained Glass,

This is my new hobby,

I was always overwhelmed with the big stained glass windows in churches etc. One of the most beautiful set of stained glasses that I have ever seen are Chagall’s windows in Jerusalem.

So couple of weeks ago I and my beloved one went to a stained glass shop and we fell in love with what we saw.

We decided to take a beginners course in stained glass.

We started and it is so relaxing and enjoyable. The colours the texture of the glass the infinite variety is just unbelievable. It is easy to learn and not difficult to do so for anyone who wants to look into a new hobby try checking it.

You can do many things not just windows, pictures also lamps etc.

Who know maybe in couple of years I can do some thing like this

(this is not mine :-) its one of Chagalls master pieces.

Thanks for your comments.
This hobby is bringing a lot of colour to our life.
We took the class here in Toronto canada and you can just go on line and try to google stain glass and class. If not thaere are many "how to" in the WWW more then this one can also find on line videos that explain how to do it.

I saw one site where they teach how to make artificial stained glass... It looks like stained glass, the only difference being that the glass is never cut and the colour is painted onto the surface and the glass is left to dry for about 36 to 48 hours... It looks quite similar but it washes off with a little water...
