Learning is the process by which we acquire knowledge about the world, while memory is the process by which that knowledge is encoded, stored, and later retrieved. Memory involves both functional and structural changes at synapses in the circuits participating in a learning task.
Do you work in the field of learning and memory? Please tell us more about your research.
