Group Leader / Associate Director – Discovery Biology

Job Description

* Good knowledge and understanding about the mechanism, action of various drugs, cell signaling, gene expression and regulatory pathways.
* Expertise in metabolic / respiratory-inflammation pathways or experience in drug discovery will be an added advantage.
* To lead and advance small molecule drug candidates into pre-clinical and clinical studies.
* Required to provide scientific and creative leadership, to co-ordinate multiple scientific areas for preclinical screening and characterization of novel chemical entities as potential candidates for development. To apply state of art scientific methods and knowledge to drug discovery.
* Ability to establish and maintain external collaborations is also required.
* Ability to lead a team along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
M S / Ph D in Biology with 05 – 10 yrs experience in reputed R&D organization.
