You can look for something at Natures Job section.

As well as all the job sites out there:

http://www.sciencejobs.com/splash.action

http://www.nature.com/naturejobs/index.html

http://sciencecareers.sciencemag.org/

most people will write to a researcher in their field with whom they would like to work and ask if they have a position vacant. You should offer to apply for fellowships and other sources of funding when writing as well as submitting your CV of course. Often people will gain positions this way and you dont have to wait for an advertisement.

If they are interested they will reply and ask you for interview.
