Hacking the Human Vision System

Neuroscientist Paul Sajda, of Columbia University, taps into the vision system to help computers find meaningful images. Through an EEG cap, the computer can tell which image grab your attention even if they're moving too fast to consciously notice. IEEE Spectrum http://spectrum.ieee.org went inside Sajda's lab to try the system out.
