Opening For Microscopy Facility Manager :London

We are seeking to recruit a Manager for the Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy (FILM) within the National Heart and Lung Institute.
The post was created in 2006 and has evolved to run the cross-College light microscopy facility with branches on the South Kensington and Hammersmith campuses, known as FILM (Facility for Imaging by Light Microscopy). The purpose of the post is organising the day-to-day running of the facility, user training and support, supervision of the facility assistants (currently 2), finances, strategic planning and preparing funding applications for the facility. The post also involves comprehensive user guidance on microscopy techniques as well as implementation of new technologies. You will provide a high quality state-of-the-art service in light microscopy to the College. This is an unique opportunity for a candidate of the highest calibre to manage one of the best resourced light microscopy facilities in the UK and to mould its development.
This post is full-time and open-ended, based at the South Kensington Campus.
