virus capable of causing infection both in plant & man

 
I really need and urgent reply to this pls.I was given an assignment to work on and so far i have not been able to get a solution for it.I need to know of any possible virus capable of causing infection in man and plant.It's pathology in both host,symptoms,treatment and control

Plant  viruses need to be transmitted by a vector, most often insects such as leafhoppers. Check the wikipedia for more details at the following link

Hi,
Those articles were interesting but as far as I am aware, there is no known plant virus that can be transmitted to, and subsequently infect, humans.  I would be interested to hear if anyone did know of one however.

Wow - humans acting as vectors for plants viruses.  Excellent find - thanks for the link.  Looking forward to reading it.  I wonder if it would work the other way too?

I think the paper might make us think twice about using animal manure as a fertilizer on food crops - certainly good that human waste is no longer used!
