The Center for Sleep and Consciousness (the lab of Dr. Giulio Tononi) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to play a leading role in studies concerning the effect of mindfulness and Tibetan Buddhist meditation on spontaneous mentation during wakefulness and sleep, as well as their brain activity correlates using high-density EEG. 2 to 5 years position available. Project conducted with the ongoing collaboration of the UW Center for Investigating Healthy Minds (Dr. Richard Davidson's) team. Applicants should have a PhD in psychology, neuroscience or related field, should have prior experience with EEG, and should be able to work independently and have good quantitative, analytical and programing skills.
