A postdoctoral opening is available in the Yin laboratory at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. Our lab uses zebrafish as a genetic model to study liver development and disease pathogenesis.
The individual interested in this position will study the regulation of liver development and injury repair. Projects will utilize multidisciplinary approaches: genetics, confocal imaging, chemical screen, bioinformatics, and liver histology.
We seek a motivated scientist who is independent, productive, and processes excellent skills in cellular and molecular biology and an enthusiasm for using and developing new techniques. Candidate must hold a recent doctorate in biology. Background in zebrafish and developmental biology is desirable, not essential.
