Postdoctoral Fellowship in Vascular Disease Research

Job Description

A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Debbie Beasley and the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University. We study the pathogenic role of innate immunity in vascular diseases, with a current emphasis on studies of novel mediators of TLR4 action and development of molecular therapies for inhibiting TLR-dependent inflammation.

M.D. or Ph.D. in physiology, cell biology, immunology or related field is required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, and have excellent oral and written communication skills, a track record of research productivity and publications in peer-reviewed journals, and proficiency in general laboratory techniques such as cell culture, analysis of transgenic/knockout mice, PCR, and ELISA. Experience in confocal microscopy and flow cytometry are desirable.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as this position is funded via an NIH institutional training grant. The stipend is in accordance with the current NIH scale. Candidates should submit a CV and statement of research interests to:
