?Wu Ligang’s Laboratory - Small and Long Non-coding RNAs in Mammals
Job Description (JD):
The postdoctoral fellow will participate in research project by employing the newly developed high-throughput RNAi screening system to identify functional long non-coding RNAs in immune and cancer cells and study their molecular mechanism in epigenetic regulation. For details:

?Zhou Jinqiu’s Laboratory - Chromatin Structure/Function and Cellular Aging

?Liao Lujian’s Laboratory - Proteins Involved in Neurodegenerative Diseases
Liao’s lab uses a functional proteomics approach to study the proteins involved in neurodegenerative diseases, particular Parkinson’s disease. A multidisciplinary approach, including biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, high-resolution mass spectrometry, bioinformatics will be exploited to study novel protein-protein interactions, post-translational modifications of key gene products in Parkinson’s disease, such as parkin, pink1, lrrk2, etc. For details:

Lin’s laboratory focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms underlying plasticity and specificity of intracellular signaling network using c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK) and I?B kinase (IKK)/NF-?B as molecular probes and understanding the impact of deregulating the intracellular signaling network on human diseases and cancer. ?Jing Naihe’s Laboratory - Stem Cell and Neural Development
Two postdoctoral positions are available in Jing’s Laboratory. The main research interest is to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of central nervous system (CNS) development and pluripotent stem cell neural differentiation, particularly focusing on cross-talk between extrinsic signals and intrinsic factors (miRNA and epigenetic factors) on neural fate decision of pluripotent stem cells and early mouse embryos. The lab is also using human pluripotent stem cells to explore the possible stem cell therapy for neurodegenerative disease. For details:

Hu’s lab is studying the mechanism governing muscle stem cell maintenance, proliferation, differentiation, and the mechanism used to maintain muscle mass using biochemistry, cell biology, imaging, physiological and animal model approaches. For details:
Candidates should be highly self-motivated with a solid background in biochemistry, molecular biology, muscle physiology, or developmental biology. Ge’s laboratory studies the interaction of tumor cells and microenvironment in breast cancer onset, progression and metastasis, by utilizing breast cancer model mice, as well as approaches of biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology. The research focuses on dynamic remodeling of ECM during breast cancer progression; and communication between breast cancer cells and reactive cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs). For details:
