Job Description
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis is seeking a postdoctoral fellow for conducting federally funded bone research. Research projects focus on molecular and biomechanical analysis of load-driven bone remodeling, systems biology of osteoporosis and osteonecrosis, and development of therapeutic agents and medical devices for bone diseases. This position is available immediately.

The candidate should have a PhD in the areas of biomedical engineering and life sciences, or MD in orthopedics or related fields. Strong experimental skills using in vivo and in vitro systems are essential. Experience in micro CT imaging, PCR, Western blot analysis, histology, and animal handling is highly desirable.
