The laboratory for neural coding at Ben Gurion University is looking for an excellent researcher to take part in a study which involves information processing in the brain. The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. either in neuroscience, computational neuroscience, theoretical physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or a related discipline. The candidate should have a strong interest in information processing in biological systems.
 
The lab team is strongly multidisciplinary and has a strong background in electrophysiology and we also use computational modeling and perform behavioral experiments using the archer fish as a model system for information processing.
The postdoc position involves a temporary appointment for 1 year and can be extended up to a total of 3 years.
