Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) is offering Marie Curie fellowship for 24-months postdoctoral position. The recruited researcher shall spend 12 months in Madrid and 12 months in Trieste, and will have a different research contract in each University. This fellowship is offered within the International Training Network CORINF (Correlated Multielectron Dynamics in Intense Laser Fields) for working in laser-matter interaction. The selected applicant will spend 12 months in Madrid (Spain) and 12 months in Trieste (Italy). The fellowship will cover gross annual salary 57-62 k€ and mobility and travel expenses.

Study Subject(s): Postdoctoral position is available for working in laser-matter interaction.
Course Level: This fellowship is available for pursuing postdoctoral program.
Scholarship Provider: University of Madrid. Group is linked to the Erasmus Mundus program through the European Master on Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling.
Scholarship can be taken at: The recruited researcher shall spend 12 months in Madrid (Spain) and 12 months in Trieste (Italy).

Eligibility: -hold a PhD in Theoretical/Computational Physics or Chemistry, or have four years of demonstrable research experience
-have less than 5 years research experience (including PhD)
-not have resided or carried out their main activity in either SPAIN or ITALY for more than 12 months during the past 3 years.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The students who have not resided or carried out their main activity in either Spain or Italy can apply for this fellowship.

Scholarship Description: Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and The University of Trieste (UniTS) are offering a 24-months postdoctoral position linked to the FP7 project CORINF (PITN-2010-264951), starting not later than April 1st, 2013. The project will be focused on the theoretical study of the coupled electron-nuclear dynamics in polyatomic molecules by using single ultrashort XUV/X-ray pulses and different combinations of pump-probe pulses. It will be developed jointly among UAM and UniTS, in collaboration with other ITN nodes (Humboldt Univ.). The recruited researcher shall spend 12 months in Madrid and 12-months in Trieste.

What does it cover? Gross annual salary: 57-62 k€ (subject to deduction of the contribution to the social security of the employer and the employee, and the national income taxes) plus contributions to the mobility and travel expenses, and a career exploratory allowance.
