The Territory Manager position manages sales processes in an assigned geography for the pharmaceutical product line in accordance with approved marketing plans. This is accomplished by utilizing and contributing in high performance selling teams to maximize coverage of physicians, targeted accounts within the assigned territory. Provides technical product knowledge and support to ensure customer satisfaction. Effectively utilizes all Allergan sales resources to enhance productivity and provide optimal customer satisfaction. Complies with required reports and requests and effectively manages Allergan field assets, including samples. 
Utilizes appropriate selling principles in an effective and professional manner to develop partnerships with economic decision makers and therapeutic opinion influencers. Executes core programs to promote Allergan to key thought leaders. Gains commitment for Allergan products and is responsible for being well informed on Allergan and competitive products. 
Utilizes effective territory management to ensure required call activity. Utilizes data sources to analyze and capitalize on territory opportunities. Develops and coordinates execution of territory and customer specific plans. Communicates key competitive activities, trends and changing customer requirements. Complies with corporate and legal requirements for sampling, storage, distribution and tracking. Manages corporate funding within approved guidelines.
 
 
Requirements: 
Education and Experience 
 
Bachelors degree in related field 
 
Ideally, minimum 3 to 5 years general sales experience; pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales strongly preferred 
Essential Skills and Abilities 
 
Capacity to manage budgets, expenses and execute marketing plans. 
 
Computer skills. 
 
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to many diverse customer audiences, therapeutic decision makers, and other influencers. Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types. 
 
Ability to function effectively in a high performance team. Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment. 
 
Strong selling style. 
 
Strong organizational and prioritization skills. 
 
Ability to travel
