Sr Manager, Incentive Compensation - MedImmune

MedImmune's Sr. Manager, Incentive Compensation role plays a key role in the development and execution of incentive compensation plans, goal development and total rewards programs that support the vision of the Commercial organization. This individual will work in conjunction with the Sr Director Sales & Marketing Operations, Associate Director Sales Ops and Incentive Compensation Sales Analyst to validate the processing of sales force Goal and MBO payments and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, this individual will contribute to the team by focusing on communication to the Sales Force around Incentive Compensation Plans, Contests, Reward Points, as well as provide goal and plan design support to the Sales & Marketing Management team.

*Experience in Life Sciences preferred
*Prior experience in Incentive Compensation preferred
*Process implementation

*Demonstrated ability to analyze data
*Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with top management levels

Specific Duties
*Manage vendor relationships as they pertain to Incentive Compensation planning and processing, and maintenance and further technical enhancement of the Incentive Reporting Systems, support of Goal Modeling and Plan Design Process
*Collaborate with Senior Manager of Sales Operations on all data issues identified during Incentive Compensation processing
*Directs the Sales/Reporting/Incentive Compensation Sales Analyst on first level validation steps
*Performs Second level Validation steps on all IC Processing and presents findings to Senior Director Sales & Marketing Operations
*Develops Incentive Compensation Executive Scorecard highlighting passed validation, budget assessment, and trending.
*Manages the MBO process (field/management reminder process, capturing MBO by team, report production)
*Processes all Contests/Points, Calculates Payouts, Award Winners, Communications
*Acts as a liaison between the entire sales force to address questions on the IC plans
*Serve as main support to Managed Markets, Trade & Distribution and Public Health teams to address questions on any Sales Operations functions
*Develop and Deliver Incentive Compensation New Hire Training and ongoing training/education opportunities
*Provides Ad Hoc reporting support for requests relating to Incentive Compensation
*Identify opportunities for ongoing process improvement recommendations and automation to present to Associate Director, Sales Operations (analytic review of past processing)
*Enhance all process documentation, implement all business rules and oversee project plans for all phases of Incentive Compensation processing
*Works with AD Sales Operations on the IC Exception Process
*Processes all field awards and manages logistics of award ordering/delivery
*Competes "Sales Ops Requests" tickets by field (including IC questions and management support)
*Ensures governance over all Incentive file management
*Ensures governance over incentive compensation decision making
*Supervises Temporary Analyst Resource

*Expert Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access skills
*Excellent Problem Solving and Analytical skills
*Strong Communication Skills a must -- heavy focus on writing ability, public speaking skills (across all channels including executive management team presentation delivery), ability to communicate technical specifications.
*Strong Customer Service skills
