 Actavis is looking for a Product Analyst to join the Global Business Development (BD) group at the Company's U.S. Administrative Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ office. The Business Development group defines the strategic direction of our industry-leading generic portfolio. The Product Analyst supports the activities of the US Portfolio Team in identifying and researching new product opportunities, tracking pharmaceutical news, portfolio reporting and other adhoc analysis requests.
Perform competitive intelligence activities in support of the company's generic portfolio strategy.
Conduct analyses and prepare reports for senior management.
Support the department's databases and business intelligence tools.
Assist in day-to-day management of the department activities and processes.
Monitor pharmaceutical news on pipeline products and potential product candidates.
Utilize various 3rd party pharmaceutical databases and news sources for identifying new product opportunities. Filter information and highlight potential opportunities to the portfolio team.
Prepare detailed product assessment reports and analysis including target product's current status, IMS sales information, brand and generic competitors, listed patents, technology, peak sales and potential rationale for generic development.
Support the R&D Project Managers with product data requests and the latest information on pipeline products, approval timelines, and clinical trial results. Collaborate with R&D on annual filings calendars and participate in project review meetings as a representative from the portfolio team.
Maintain and update the portfolio database with all potential product opportunities.
Conduct research on product categories and general therapeutic areas in support of the portfolio screening and selection process.
Prepare various reports for Sr. Management including portfolio updates, NDA approval tracking, and documentation for the Pipeline Committee Meeting (PCM).
Bachelor’s degree in a pharmaceuticals, engineering, science, business to join our world-class global team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet research.
