Glaucoma Specialty Sales Representative - Boston

 Description: 
This is a universal job description meant to capture some of the primary duties of this role that are common across functions or divisions. It is not intended to represent all of the specific responsibilities of your position. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the business of assigned sales territory and achieving product specific quota attainment through POA execution of sales product interactions while providing service for all Ophthalmic products. Territory management and calls will be made on ophthalmologists in certain markets, hospitals, surgery centers, and retail pharmacies to ensure adequate product distribution as well. Must demonstrate solid selling skills and a working knowledge of the technical aspects of the ophthalmic products and accounts in a specialty market. Functions independently in sales territory, with periodic direction from sales management. Makes all day-to-day decisions on sales calls, territory management and administration, handling customers service issues and opportunities, implementing marketing plans. Interfaces with customers, Alcon sales management, marketing, and customer service (all levels). Additional responsibilities may include: Managed care support and formulary implementation. Manages the sales and administration of post-op kits to ophthalmologists, surgery centers, and hospitals. Refer to Annual performance target setting

Requirements: 
Bachelors degree Fluent in English Two year's outside sales experience and 6 months Alcon experience with FME performance.
