The Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University at Buffalo (SUNY-Buffalo) invites applications to an open rank faculty position. The appointment is tenure-track with rank based on experience, funding level and qualifications. We seek an outstanding individual whose research focuses on physiological and biophysical mechanisms of epithelial transport using modern molecular, cellular, systems, and translational techniques. Special consideration will be given to applicants interested in renal physiology.
The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree. Junior applicants must also have appropriate postdoctoral experience. Senior applicants must have a demonstrated record of scholarship, teaching, and funding. Candidates are expected to develop and maintain an independent and vigorous research program and participate in undergraduate, graduate and medical student teaching.
