£32620 to £43840 depending on skills and experience, salary can progress to £50,822 depending on performance

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Embryologist to join our team to assist in the delivery of fertility services at NURTURE, based at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. NURTURE offers a wide range of fertility treatments, particularly IVF, aiding hundreds of couples to achieve the joy of parenthood, actively undertaking relevant research projects and clinical trials. It has one of the highest IVF success rates in the UK and currently performs approximately 600 cycles per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing embryology laboratory services, contributing to the development of the embryology services and assisting with research and teaching/training within NURTURE.
 
Candidate should have substantial experience in clinical embryology, have attained the ACE Post Graduate Certificate in Embryology, be a State registered Clinical Scientist and have an HFEA ICSI license.  Candidates must also have excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to provide professional, empathetic care and support to patients under psychological stress.

The successful candidate will be required to work bank holidays, weekends and provide on-call cover on a rotational basis.
