The Clinical Skills Centre is a central facility that aims to support the teaching of practical skills to students undertaking health care courses in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The Centre has a small multidisciplinary group of part-time clinical academic staff who deliver teaching for specific courses, support informal student practice, undertake skills assessments, and contribute to the development of teaching resources. The successful candidate will join a small multidisciplinary team with responsibility for developing and delivering clinical skills teaching mainly amongst undergraduate health care students.
Candidates should hold a degree, or equivalent, in medicine and have completed relevant higher professional training. Candidates should be registered with, and hold a licence to practice, from the General Medical Council (UK).
