Project Oracle: Children & Youth Evidence Hub aims to improve chances for children and young people in London. It seeks to achieve this by supporting youth organisations to evaluate their projects, and by creating a source of independently assessed and evaluated projects: a Children & Youth Evidence Hub. The Children & Youth Evidence Hub can inform decision-making when assessing whether to fund (or stop funding) services aimed at improving children and youth chances in the capital. It is co-funded by the Greater London Authority, the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, and the Economic and Social Research Council.
 
We seek a Development Manager (Youth Organisations) who will design and implement the strategy which supports youth services to improve their evaluations to achieve an appropriate standard of evidence through validation; providing one-to-one support; organising and coordinating evaluation training and events; working to bring provider organisations closer to funders and commissioners.
 
You will have an understanding of a range of different research methods and experience of generating and interpreting evidence of impact, knowledge of how to do evaluations and have good problem solving and interpersonal skills preferably within the children and youth sector. You will also have advanced IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel, with working knowledge of all packages and the ability to work with databases.
