The LLM is one of the largest postgraduate programmes offered at QMUL and has a large number of international students from all over the world.
 
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated administrator who will be responsible for the day to day administration of the LLM and Diploma programmes within the Centre for Commerical Law Studies (CCLS). Working within a team of three in the LLM office, the work entails taking primary responsibility for the LLM/Diploma programmes to ensure relevant systems are in place to ensure effective and efficient administration, to help ensure that students and academics have high quality support and that all standards are compliant with quality assurance.
 
You will be an enthusiastic team player with a good attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills, and be confident in using a number of IT packages eg. Microsoft Office.
 
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of student administration and systems, experience in working with and in support of academics and students and an ability to plan and progress activities with minimum direction from management and senior staff.
 
The post will primarily be based at CCLS at Lincoln’s Inn Fields although there are occasions when the post holder is expected to undertake duties at Mile End.
 
The post is full time, permanent appointment, jointly funded by the Dept of Law and CCLS. Starting salary will be in the range £25,727 - £31,735 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
 
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
