This post is required to join the new NERC Soil Coordinator team within the School of Archaeology, Geography and Environmental Science, which aims to provide a fundamental understanding of the factors that regulate the ability of soils to perform multiple functions, and its ability to adapt and respond to land use and climate change. Guaranteeing knowledge exchange between stakeholders and ensuring the outcomes of the programme reach a wide audience will be essential to the success of the programme, as its primary purpose is to bring together a range of research projects to address science and policy needs.
 
You will have:
 
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Experience of supporting business and regulatory facing initiatives and building relationships of these and other actors.
Experience of conference and workshop management and delivery
