Job Purpose
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative support service by carrying out a range of general and HR specific administrative activities, including providing support for the delivery of recruitment, employment contract changes, the casual payroll, honorary status, invoice processing, providing an effective, customer focused HR support to the College thus contributing to the achievement of College goals and objectives. 
 
 
Main Responsibilities and Approx % of time
1. Produce contracts of employment for extensions and amendments, for example change in hours, change of location, changing job title. (15%)
2. Administer Payments Payroll for casual staff, Ad-hoc payments, Studentships, and external examiners including checking for eligibility to work. Ensure all payment claims are correctly completed. Identify, investigate and resolve any discrepancies and ensure payroll deadlines are met. (15%)
3. Dealing with other monthly tasks such as processing monthly letters regarding staff probation and sending to School Offices to deal with, organising leaver files to be sent for scanning and processing of new start paperwork so that employee files are created for each new member of staff.(5%)
