We are seeking an efficient and hardworking individual to join the Institute of Immunity & Transplantation. The post holder will be responsible for leading the imaging facilities at the Institute, which currently includes flow cytometry and confocal imaging. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical expertise, know-how in cutting edge multi-colour flow cytometry and experience in data analysis. This post will provide key support for the research projects undertaken by groups based at the Institute and elsewhere at UCL. The postholder will engage with ongoing research projects and provide training and supervision for researchers using the flow cytometry and confocal facilities.

Knowledge of basic immunology and a completed MSc degree in a relevant subject or an equivalent qualification or equivalent knowledge or experience is essential. A PhD in a relevant subject is desirable. The post holder will have research experience in multi-colour flowcytometry including cell sorting. The post holder will be the first point of contact regarding the use of the facilities and will carry out inductions to the facility and train users at a range of different levels. Candidates will have excellent communication skills and technical knowledge, enabling them to keep the facility running to the highest standards.
