Chief of Gastroenterology
A unique opportunity is available for a Gastroenterology faculty to build an academic/community based gastroenterology division that will serve as the foundation of a future fellowship program, in Lubbock TX. 
The Chef of Gastroenterology is supported by an endowed chair and has access to a newly built endoscopy lab for procedures. Duties include teaching, patient care, research and administration.
The successful candidate should meet these requirements:
Exemplary clinical skills
Evidence of scholarship
Qualifications for a program director in gastroenterology
Requirements for faculty hire at the associate professor or professor level Strong interpersonal communication and consensus building skills
Board certification in internal medicine and gastroenterology is required. The candidate should have qualifications necessary for faculty appointment at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) and for licensure in the State of Texas.
