A high-tech specialist business which delivers tailored process and purity systems to the manufacturing elements of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries is looking to expand its European operations with a Key Account Manager to drive the business forward in the North West area of continental Europe.
You will be providing bespoke solutions to the scientific and pharmaceutical manufacturing sites across France & the BeNeLux region. Supported by a team of design, product and installation engineers you will be able to provide highly complex solutions to sites, ensuring high quality purity and high quality manufacturing standards are maintained.
These large process systems range in value from several thousand Euros for one module, up to millions of Euros for a combined, integrated multi-modular solution. Due to the complexity and bespoke nature of the system the sales process is fairly lengthy; however, success in this role in the first two years will be measured on activities rather than sales secured.
Success in this position will be rewarded with a highly competitive bonus scheme, which has the potential to reward you with up to an additional 50% of your salary.
Further to this, you will have an advantage in this region of Europe since it has been previously supported by an independent agent and thus the sales pipeline is well maintained. This role, for you as a direct employee, will require you to develop that pipeline further, and draw several key processes to a conclusion.
With the global growth in the scientific and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, this role has the prospect to develop greater responsibilities across a wider remit, supporting a number of direct sales specialists and project engineers in Europe.
With an established background in process systems this employer has established relationships in key global businesses and you will assist with developing those relationships in the field on a local level; liaising between the head office design engineers and the requirements of the site managers at the local level ensuring that the requirements of the clients are met.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have an established background in selling high value capital equipment to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Europe, specifically France & the BeNeLux region.
Those with sales experience and any technical knowledge in engineering or chemical engineering are invited to apply.
