BMSU Manager – Full Time (36 hours/week) plus some weekend overtime.
Band 4 – Salary from £31,022 – £36,758 per annum inclusive of £5000 special regional allowance
Applications are invited from experienced BMSU officers to manage an integral BMSU facility and support a multidisciplinary team of neuroscientists studying the physiology, neurochemistry and connections of identified cells in the brain.

The post is to ensure smooth and efficient running of the small BMS unit and associated procedure rooms in accordance with all international, national and local regulations and guidelines. The postholder will also perform the duties of NACWO.
Applicants should hold an IAT qualification at level 3 (minimum), have completed Home Office Modules 1-5, hold a NACWO certificate and be computer literate. Ability to work with a high level of personal integrity and dedication will also be a key consideration. Previous experience in a senior BMSU position is essential.
