Library Services is a key department supporting the institution's teaching, learning, research and administrative activity. Library Services has four divisions, Customer Services, Information Resources, Archives and Information Management and Research and Learning Liaison.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen to develop and lead the Customer Services strategy for the Library Service.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic vision for customer services, and will own the customer experience in the libraries.
You will be responsible for frontline customer services staff, and the enquiries team, and the deployment of services across six discrete sites.
With an in-depth knowledge and understanding of customer services practices and developments from either HE or another sector, you will have first rate communication skills, significant experience of devising and delivering an excellent customer service experience, and will have led complex change management projects.
The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications and experience, within the Grade 8 scale, currently £49,019 to £56,456 per annum, inclusive of £2,323 London Allowance, per annum.
