Vaccines

I have studied vaccines and found that attenuated or live viruses are used in the mix with an adjuvant to obtain an immune response. Common sense would tell you that the immune system will not develop an immunity against the virus but instead the adjuvant. I think what needs to done is to analyse on a molecular level just what a dead or live virus does and which organ triggers the immune response and also what happens if the virus bypasses that organ by way of IM injection. I reckon no vaccine ever developed works because of this so I'd like someone to prove me wrong.
