INTRACELLULAR Ki67 STAINING V. 1.0
Ki67 is a nuclear antigen associated with cell proliferation and is present throughout the
active cell cycle (G1, S, G2 and M phases) but absent in resting cells (G0). The increased
intracellular Ki67 expression in HIV-1 infected subject has been taken to indicate an
increase in T cell turnover.
