The Chronicle of Higher Learning is a good place to find academic positions: http://chronicle.com/

And Science Magazine's "Science Nextwave" has very good advice on finding a job, writing cover letters, resumes, or CVs. Unfortunately, in many cases you now need a subscription (it used to be free), but most Universities have some access to the site.

I think this one is the same as sciencejobs.com, just on another website. So don't search separately.

Also I recommend looking up the city specific (like bostonjobs) websites if you are already in the city. People who place the ad there are more of looking for candidates who are alreay there. IMO,
