Dear all,
I have digested some proteins from acylamide gel using trypsin and get the (glyco) peptides mixture. I want to analyze glycopeptides by MALDI-TOF-MS and also LC-MS/MS. Do you have any idea for enriching the glycopeptides?
Thank a lot for your kindly help
Hi Onee,
Do you have any idea what kind of glycan structures is present in your samples? If you do, you can always use lectin-agarose for en enrichment tool... And it works well with complex N-/O-glycopeptides.
Hope this helps, and good luck.
Hi Pippuri
Many thank for your guide. My samples are highly N-glycosylated peptides. Now I plan to use Sepharose to enrith them but I not sure which one (between sepharose and any lectin) will give a better result. Anyway, what is the difference between sepharose CL-6B and 4B for glycan or glycopeptide enrichment?
Thank again.
