CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR SPEAKER PROPOSALS
Developing kinase inhibitors as novel therapeutics has become quite attractive to the pharmaceutical industry. Moving from the discovery into the clinic requires to tackle a new set of challenges. Questions such as efficacy and safety and planning, selectivity and the mechanism of action need to be addressed early on in order to stay profitable in this highly competitive field.
This conference brings together the top players, experts and decision makers to inform about latest developments, opportunities and challenges and to brainstorm and discuss in an interactive environment the most pressing topics related to the task of moving kinase inhibitor based drugs into clinical studies and beyond.
Topics to be Discussed:
* safety evaluation
* mechanism of action
* challenges of clinical trial set-ups
* case studies of compounds in clinical trials success and failureallosteric inhibitors
* arising mutations
* combination therapies
* issues and recommendations for approvals of kinase inhibitors
* new therapeutic scopes - beyond oncology
